I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Maryland as well as in the District of Columbia. A graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, I have been in practice since 1994 providing individual, couples and family therapy in a variety of settings. |
My vision is to empower individuals, couples and families to THRIVE even in the face of difficult challenges.
My mission is to:- improve the quality of life for individuals, couples and families
- improve key relationships in people's lives
- promote resilience through difficult times
- encourage a positive outlook on life
I am also dedicated to advancing the profession of Marriage and Family Therapy because I believe that MFT’s are uniquely trained to help couples and families with the challenges they face. To that end I have served on the Board of Directors for the Middle Atlantic Division of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy since 1999 as Treasurer (1999-2005), President Elect (2006-2007) and President (2007-2008).
